You Raise Me Up...

classmates...(after fyp presentation)
bros that bear wit the pain of fyp tgt...

Is really busy last few weeks as really have no time for other activity but I will never fail to visit SHG blog daily. FINALLY, my FYP project(STRESS) is over… is not a smooth and easy journey but I am glad that it is over and I think that I can at least a pass grade. As I always tell myself that “No matter how nasty and nice the problem I have faced with today, I’m really glad that it’s over and all I have to do is to prepare for the start of tomorrow…”

Now finally have more time to plan for SHG program and in charge of volley ball competition in the SHG activity. Currently thinking of having an inter-SHG-captain ball competition with other centre, as from what I have know is that most of the centre kids prefer ball game such as captain ball. Maybe it is an outdoor game and it involve some interaction and communication within their teammate and volunteer therefore the game seen to be much more interesting compare to others ball game. Moreover, they have also learnt some ball games skill, rule, respect and other personal character building skill.

Volunteers’ night to me is a night where the entire volunteers go to a dinner in order to bond, gather, and interact together. As it only happen once in a two year therefore sometime we really hardly see other centre volunteer when we are busy on our work. Volunteers’ night is also a night where good volunteers and long service volunteer get rewarded. Really RESPECT some of the long service volunteers as can see their effort put in the SHG program in order to let this program grow with the kids… The dinner is okay, early bird program is GREAT! (Ice cream is okay but the tarrot card is accurate in my opinion as I ask for my relationship thingy…as I dun think that I need explain in detail.. HAHA) In the dinner also talk to some of my old friend knows in the SHG camp and B3 but most of the time I stay on my table because is not really feeling well that day…

After volunteers’ night doing some reflection… look back at my time when I am a student in SHG till now as a volunteer… I have a song that from my bottom of my heart…

Josh Groban - You Raise Me Up

When I am down and, oh my soul, so weary;
When troubles come and my heart burdened be;
Then, I am still and wait here in the silence,
Until you come and sit awhile with me.

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up... To more than I can be.

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up... To more than I can be.

There is no life - no life without its hunger;
Each restless heart beats so imperfectly;
But when you come and I am filled with wonder,
Sometimes, I think I glimpse eternity.

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up... To more than I can be.

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up... To more than I can be.

You raise me up... To more than I can be.
